My name is Ayden Huang, and I am a freshman at Ladue High School. My current USCF rating is 2070. I started playing chess when I was 7. I have won the state championships of K-3, K-6, and K-8 and participated in the National Barber championship representing Missouri. I have several years of experience teaching chess, including both group lessons and private instruction.

My name is Albert Shi, and I am a 7th grader at Ladue Middle School. I have played chess for 6 years. My USCF chess rating is 1700, and I won the K-5 State Championship in 2023 and participated in the National Rockefeller tournament representing Missouri State. I have placed 27th in the National Rockefeller tournament for state champions. Academically I like math as well. I also enjoy playing piano, clarinet and reading.

My name is Sophie Zhang and I’m a freshman at the John Burroughs school. My chess journey started when I was eight, and I have a standard OTB rating of 1394 and online rating of 1884. When I am not playing chess, doing chess puzzles or watching chess videos, l enjoy reading, playing club volleyball, and baking. I’ve taught chess group lessons at SLEO for the last two years and one-on-one lessons at the SPICE chess summer camp. I am passionate about promoting girls playing chess and I hope you will join me!
